Mariner Medical Examinations and Seafarers Medical Examinations by Certified Marine Medical Examiners

Our certified Marine Medical Examiners adhere to the guidelines set out by Transport Canada (TC) for conducting Mariner’s Medical Exams. The exams test for satisfactory visual acuity, colour vision, and hearing among other physical requirements.

Our Marine Medicals may include, but are not limited to, a medical physical, ECG, audiogram, update of routine vaccinations, and administering other recommended vaccinations such as hepatitis A and B, typhoid fever, etc. Medisys is a certified yellow fever clinic as designated by Health Canada.

We also provide mariners with pre-employment, periodic, and return-to-work medicals as well as all necessary certificates of competency.
