On Monday, September 29, 2014 Dr. Vivien Brown noted family physician and Vice- President of Medical Affairs at Medisys, delivered an informative and educational talk about Osteoarthritis, a condition that affects over 4 million Canadian adults. Symptoms range from relatively mild forms of tendinitis and bursitis to crippling systemic forms, such as rheumatoid arthritis. By 2036 it’s estimated that almost one in five Canadian adults will have arthritis, an irreversible degeneration of the bone.
